Sea Scouts, BSA - this is the home page of the Sea Scouting Division of the Boy Scouts of America.  You can find a wealth of information about Sea Scouting here.  There are downloadable Adobe .pdf forms and publications available as well as links to other Sea Scouting resources.

Northeast Region Sea Scouts - this is Northeast Region Sea Scouting web page.  Here you can find links to the Northeast Region Sea Scout newsletter, the Telegraph, as well as a listing of regional sea scout officers and events.

Delaware Valley Flotilla - SSS Nautilus (461) is part of the Delaware Valley Flotilla, which is one of several multi-council Sea Scout organizations run by the Northeast Region of the BSA.  The Delaware Valley Flotilla is comprised of Sea Scout units in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, South and Central New Jersey. 

Ship's Stores - the Ship's Stores is a privately-run enterprise that provides Sea Scouting supplies to Ships at a very reasonable cost.  The Ship's Stores is run entirely by volunteers who are active in the Scouting program and it is advisable to order supplies well in advance.

S-G Trading Post - the SG Trading Post is a licensee of the Boy Scouts of America and offers custom and standard items for all of the various Scouting programs.  For Sea Scouts specifically, S-G Trading Post offers a variety of clothing items embossed or embroidered with the Sea Scout logo.

Finding a Local Sea Scout Ship - BeaScout.org is the place to find the closest Scouting unit to your location.  If you are interested in finding Sea Scout Ships located near where you live, click on the Venturing/Sea Scouts tab on the front page of the site.  There is a place to type in your zip code and when you click "search" a Google map will appear with the BSA units noted on their by their symbols.  Sea Scout Ships are denoted by the placement of the Sea Scout logo, which is the first class scout emblem superimposed upon an anchor.  On the right-hand side is a listing of the units with a link to click to get more information on that particular unit.  Ship 461 can be found and its information is listed on BeAScout.org.

Sea Bases:

Tremly Point Sea Scout Base - the Tremly Point Sea Scout Base is located at on the banks of the Rahway River at mile .72.  Tremly Point is the largest Sea Base on the East Coast.  The Rahway River flows into the Kill Van Kull.  The Sea Base was constructed entirely by volunteer labor utilizing donated materials.  The address is 4700 Tremly Point Road, Linden, New Jersey 07036.  The telephone number is (908) 862-3092. 

Florida National High Adventure Sea Base - Florida Sea Base is located in the midst of the Florida Keys and is the Boy Scouts of America most complete aquatic facility offering activities from SCUBA to "tall ships."  All participants at Florida Sea Base have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, and fish amongst the most beautiful coral reefs in the Northern Hemisphere.  The address for the Florida Sea Base is Post Office Box 1206, Islamorada, Florida 33036.  The telephone number is (305) 664-5615 (voice) and (305) 517-2743 (facsimile).  The contact person for Florida Sea Base is Paul M. Beal, General Manager.

Sea Scout Ship 201, Jenkintown, PA - Sea Scout Ship Slayer is located in Jenkintown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Sea Scout Ship 25, York, PA - Sea Scout Ship Yorkshire is located in York, Pennsylvania, and is sponsored by the Yorkshire United Methodist Church.  Ship meetings are held weekly on Monday nights starting at 7:30 p.m. at either the Emigsville Sea Scout Base, located at 3591 Liverpool Turnpike, Emigsville, PA, or at the Manchester Sea Scout Base, located at Garrod Hydraulics, 1050 Locust Point Road, Manchester, PA.

Sea Scout Ship 2012, Bensalem, PA - Sea Scout Ship is chartered by the Bensalem Yacht Club, 2189 State Road, Bensalem, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Scouting Resources:

Scouting.org - This is the web site of the Boy Scouts of America and here you can find information of the Scouting program, locate available scout units in your area, and a wealth of information regarding the purpose of and membership in the Boy Scouts of America.

ScoutStuff.org - This is the online store of the Boy Scouts of America where you can purchase a variety of Scout-related material online, including uniforms, insignia, handbooks, camping supplies, craft materials, training materials, and the like.

My Scouting.org - This is the online training, or "e-training," site for the Boy Scouts of America.  This is where adult leaders can complete a significant portion of the training required for their positions as adult leaders in the BSA.  Registration is required and one does not have to be a registered leader with the BSA in order to register for the site.  My Scouting.org contains training opportunities for all of the Scouting programs from Cub Scouts through Venturing. 

Cradle of Liberty Council - the Cradle of Liberty Council serves the youth of Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.  It runs two (2) major scout camps, Musser Scout Reservation, located in Green Lane, Montgomery County, and Resica Falls Scout Reservation north of Marshall's Creek in the Pocono Mountains.

Bucks County Council - the Bucks County Council serves the youth of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  The council runs Ockanickon Scout Reservation that is located in Pipersville, Pennsylvania. 

Chester County Council - the Chester County Council serves the youth of Chester County, Pennsylvania, and a portion of Cecil County, Maryland.  The council operates Horseshoe Scout Reservation that is located in Rising Sun, Maryland.

General Nash District - The General Nash District of the Cradle of Liberty Council serves the youth of the North Penn and Souderton Area School Districts in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  District Roundtables are held on the second Wednesday of every month from September through May at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale and start at 7:30 o'clock p.m. and usually end around 9:00 o'clock p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 84, North Wales, PA - an active Boy Scout Troop in the North Wales are of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Troop meetings are held on Thursday evenings starting at 7:30 p.m. at the North Wales Scout Cabin.

Boy Scout Troop 91, Harleysville, PA - a very active Boy Scout Troop in the Harleysville area of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Troop meetings are held every Wednesday night at the Harleysville Scout Cabin starting at 7:30 p.m.

Cub Scout Pack 10, Franconia, PA - Cub Scout Pack sponsored by the Little Zion Lutheran Church located on Morwood Road in Franconia Township, Pennsylvania.  The Pack's web page contains a wealth of information.

Cub Pack 397, Lansdale, PA - Cub Scout Pack sponsored by the Christ United Methodist Church located on Valley Forge Road in Towamencin Township, PA.  The Pack's website has recently been updated and contains exciting new information as to the happening in the world of Cub Scouting.
